Garmisch-Partenkirchen Classic – Osterfelder/Kreuzeck

Mountains of alpine skiing pleasure right at Tennsee’s doorstep on the three affiliated mountains of the Garmisch-Classic area: Hausberg, Kreuzeck and Alpspitze. 40 kilometres of skiable terrain at 700 to 2050 metres offer enticing runs, unique unforgettable experiences and five deep-powder slopes. Olympic tradition meanwhile meets the future of World Cup on the Kandahar-Runde while the Kandahar café/bar provides a regal après-ski setting for Italian coffee specialities or steaming mulled wine.

Zugspitze ski area

At 2000 and 2720 m elevation with seven months of pure downhill fun, the Zugspitze ski area is one of superlatives:
Beginner to intermediate runs cover a total of 22 kilometres at the “Top of Germany” on and adjacent to Germany’s sole glacier – skiing and snowboarding at its absolutely finest. Families with children, daredevils and freestylers are all equally attracted by the bounty of natural snow here. Brauneck ski area

The Brauneck, Lenggries-Wegscheid ski area offers approximately 34 km of runs for every level. Beginners to intermediate skiers will quickly find favourites among the 22 red and 8 blue kilometres of runs. A total of 4 black-diamond kilometres meanwhile beckon more ambitious adrenaline junkies.
Or slow down a bit and take it all in on the 6 km long family slope from the Brauneck cable car mountain station down to Wegscheid. The free shuttle bus will return you to your starting point.

Laber ski area

Now elevated to virtual cult status, the Laber Ropeway only fits eleven passengers and bobs you up and down the mountain to “North Slope” – Germany’s steepest ungroomed run: at times a paradise of powder, at times moguled through and through, a notorious thigh-twitching, lung-pumping rush of adrenaline – for serious experts only! 1 cable railway, 2.5 km ungroomed run, elevation: 874 – 1684 m

Seefeld – Gschwandtkopf ski area

The ski resorts of the Olympic Seefeld region are merely but a good 20-minute drive from Tennsee. Designed to get any skier’s heart racing faster, these sunny groomed slopes and modern lifts deliver all they promise, even to professional athletes. Pure enjoyment from top to bottom.
